hello,
my name is christian and i am the maintainer of the fractalforums.com website, last year i started a personal project of mine, which is doing a youtube show about fractals,
the show consists of news, gallery, history and tutorials
for the next "news" issue i am planning to give an overview about terrain rendering software, because terrains/plants/clouds are a great use of the fractal/chaos theory which is the main reason for my channel, and it is always nice to see what can be done with the purely theoretical aspects of chaos theory
i am unable to create nice examples/animations in a short period of time, it would be fantastic if a reasonable amount of examples from snapshots and or animations could be provided by some of you to be used as examples in the show
i know terragen since earliest days and seeing what is possible with terragen2 is just crazy amazing
hope hearing from you, this is my youtube channel:

great, thank you zlain, as i said i am searching for landscape/cloud/tree animations not the fractals ;)
you got some nice renderings, am i allowed to use some of them partly to demonstrate the state of the landscape rendering ?
if you got a special one that you think is "best" let me know, i will browse quickly through the channel
this one is something i looked for:
