Yeah the title basically says it....who's seen BBC Africa?
I bought it on Bluray and it's truly magnificent!
It's like watching moving sublime photography.
All the shots are carefully chosen, so well balanced and lit.
Utterly gorgeous to watch and really makes you realise how many truly beautiful places and creatures we have on our space-drifting rock.
I can highly recommend it!
It was on TV, where we watched it (recorded it as well). Indeed, great series. Beautiful footage. I like the variation between long distance aerial shots and really close up shots. Some comment it's too clean for a nature series, but it's pleasing the eye non the less.
Was there a section showing illuminated migration paths over the Serengeti from a low orbit? If so the guy on the desk next to me was working on this :)
No TG as far as I know :(

Yes, an amazing series. The Beeb at its best. It was shown over here (UK) a few months ago and is being repeated at the moment. You can't beat Attenborough and the BBC.
Haven't seen it yet, but I'm a big fan of all of BBC's nature docs, so I'll definitely check it out soon (in HD of course!).

How can I watch it in the states? I don't have BBC in my cable service.
