lol I saw something like this when I was a kid. The junked cars were all lined up nice and neat in the middle of the woods. I was rather young. I thought it ws very interesting and strange. The neatness of the junk makes/made it feel like something bizarre and dream like.

Its a interesting render Jo.

Where did you get that car? And are there more scrap cars where you got that one? Debris and junk and destroyed cars are hard to find. Also would like to find rubble from destroyed buildings, if you happen to know of any.

Nice one. If you do the rust procedurally they would all have different patterns.

Thank you for comments ! :)

Yes it can be better but I have only one scrap car. Perhaps I rework the image with no car or with addition of others objets.  Actually It's a free inspiration of the image below.

@thebadger: for the Moskvitch Rusty car 3D Model Free

@dune: I don't have any idea to create rust procedullary.

Quite easy if the object is textured properly. You can add a one (rust) color power fractal without displacement between material and default shader, or add a surface shader with a set of color fractals. Work with the sizes until it's right. Add a transform shader (final position) for global color instead of per object.

Thank you Inky and Dune !
@ Dune; Thank for the set up. Actually I can't use with my scrap car because he don't have a separate carossery but it was utile for others object.

It looks very realistic Jo,

"a wip just for fun". I wish my finished images looked as realistic :-)

Really good job with the vegetation and the cars makes a funny addition.

Cheers

Here's a group of metal shaders I have been working with. Includes some rusty ones.
