Really loike the grass covered parts! The road looks more like a "wash" except for that it reaches the top of the hill like it does here. If you take out the top part of it it would look like a flood wash. and if you want it to be a road, its to wide I think, now.

But the grass covered parts really look very good!

Badger , Thanks, you're right, as any kind of normal country road it is way too wide.
This is one of those unfortunate renders that isn't in the usual default scale where
one meter in the view represent one meter in the world.
So all the object sizes had to be multiplied to work, a big hassle.

Typical, I guess I lost sight of the big scaling problem while working out smaller stuff.

i like the mood here, but everything else looks well out of scale....those rocks need to be smaller, the trees larger, but if the scale of the trees is needed here, then a grass model  or even a displaced surface shader is needed...

Looks good Fleetwood,

The grasscovered areas look really good.

Didn't know a minicooper could drive in that kind of terrain but, good to know :-)

Cheers

Nice mood and sweet scene!
For me it looks like a "A summer afternoon in southern France"..  :)

The Mini looks awesome and fits, even the stones on the road looking bit to big for that car.
Let the scene like it is and instead melting your brain further with TG details, mount the Mini chassis onto a Big Foot chassis frame/wheels and replace the original, that would be fun to see!!  8)

lol. The driver does not care about the car, he is trying to get away from something worse than a mechanics fee. He just found out, that his wife found out, that his girl friend is pregnant! RUn man, RUN!
