"Oh do not tell the Priest of our Arte..."
Spring wood with Bluebells, Wild Garlic, Silver Birch and Alder.
Thanks to Ade for one of the Blue Bell models.
Silver Birch and Alder from Xfrog.
Suggestions ?

Very majestic...could use some more contrast....sorry, I'm a dark contrast freak! :)
Nice lighting, but I think the flowers and ground stuff need to be half size at least. And I would add some bump to the birch trunks. Perhaps an (ivy) overgrown partly moss covered statue or remains of it might be interesting to add here, make it more mystical.
Hey,ain't that Cousin Itt? ;)
Some mystical artefact or so seems to be a good idea to me too.
A nice mysterious place !!! :)
definitly scale down the undergrowth.....at least by half ,yes i know my models are the size of skyscrapers
Version II.
The grasses and bluebells have been scaled down as suggested and the atmos samples have been increased. Render time is now 5.21 hours.
The only part I don't like is the low polly"ness"/lack of detail/detail in shadow of the tree trunks.
Moving on now but C&C always welcome.
Richard
Much cooler.
The new lightning, espacially the "rim light" the rock gets now, adds a ton of optical and mystical feel/dense.
Clearly a kind of a magic fairy tale forest for me now.
Yes, this is it! Fantastic render.
Very nice!
Yesterday I mistakenly took that rock for a strange plant and that caused
my inappropriate Cousin Itt remark,sorry.
I like how the low plants look in image one.
great rays coming thru there with limegreen foliage which is right for this time of year, great stuff richard
The second render is very nice.
