After losing interest in Terragen for quite some time, I felt it calling to me. It's pretty much the function-based design I've been holding onto, just a little tweaking on the colors. Thanks for your time to look in and offer critiques.
No replies and it's obvious to me. My gawd that's RED. OK something else in the works. Planetside Staff: feel free to delete this one.
The red is fine, a lot like the South-West US, all i can see is adding lighter sandy shaders to the faked vertical eroded parts, variate the color from top to bottom perhaps. Maybe some larger scattered stones, some dry plants here and there.
Well, it is red. But who cares!
But the balance of the image draws my eye to the right hand corner out of the image ... I am not able to keep attention.
Maybe having a bright acid-green lake ... ? ... No. ,-)
