Title: moving water to SSS

He all
still playing with the simple shape shader.  i have a simple river going downhill, i want to. add the water and keep it within the river shape created,  i matched the water plane and simple shape but failure . read everything in the forum on simple shape rivers, but found no solution any tips on how to solve this greatly appreciated.  tgd attached

as i finish this had a thought. should i use a painted shader and as density use the sss

You should also take the second terrain fractal in to the default shader, and then set river depth to about -1 or -2. Also your opacity should come from elsewhere, but I have too little time to dive into your river at this moment. Hope this helps a bit at least.

Thanks to Dune some improvement has been made.  next to figure out how to expand the water or maybe just warp the shape
