The tree on the left (xfrog Japanese Maple) needs some rough or bark-like displacement. Its too smooth me thinks...
C&C is welcome.
Wow, I love the sky. I think you need an entirely different model for the foreground "hero" tree though. Even with a bark displacement to rough it up a bit, the branches are still low poly, and the leaves aren't very natural. Still, it's really the only notable flaw, the rest is great and I wouldn't suggest changing much other than that tree model. Should be a fairly easy fix if you can just get ahold of a better model. Maybe one of Xfrog's current freebies, or Silva 3D's? Downey Oak perhaps: http://xfrog.com/category/samples.html

I'll get my hands on the Downey Oak right now...
Great colours and Contrast.
Put in a hero tree and it´s perfect!
Cheers,

Thanks!
Here's the updated version with the Downey Oak:
Definitely an improvement. The trunk is actually still surprisingly angular, but I guess for a free model it's hard to complain. ;)

You could try rendering without RTO and add some 'real bumps' to the tree bark. The scene could handle it, I suppose.
Im getting lots of good ideas here and on Facebook. I'll get get right on it :D
Great scene and colors! I also love your choosen frame..
