Title: Rocks
Post by: mhaze on July 14, 2013, 01:56:46 PM
Used vector displacement for the main shapes then added some voronoi lumps, some redirected PFs and some cracks.  VD is the way to go as far as I'm concerned as it give huge control over the basic terrain.  I wish TG had more noise types though.

YEah, sculpting is great. Being able to use those sculpts in T2-3 is even better. The best part is you can now easily have one kind of rock in the fore (VD) and another in the back (terragen procedural). It lets you work much faster in some ways.

Nice experiment Mhaze. Thanks for showing it.

It's very easy I'll post something later.  How depends on what software you have.
