Same as in TG2, for the time being.

Options for this will be included in the final 3.0 release.

Hello. I take it colour variation isn't included in the "siggraph" edition? At least I couldn't find it.

I'm waiting for the upgrade to TG3 option to become available so I've been playing with the demo version in the meantime. The new population controls are really useful in getting that precise control that just isn't possible with TG2. Also it's hard to go back to 2 now that i've tried it with some TG3 multithreading.

That's correct Reck. We probably won't have time to update the free version with that feature before final release, but we'll be releasing the free version simultaneous with the licensed versions for the final anyway, so it will be available to check out at that time.

It looks like the new version has this feature in now.

How do I restrict the tint colour to only the leaf default shader without it affecting the bark default shader? When I turn it on my branches and trunk are turning green!

There will be a way to do this in a future version, but not in the current version. However, the population tinting currently only affects Default Shaders, so knowing this you might be able to replace the trunk's shader with an Image Map Shader (but don't forget to set its projection mode to UVs like the Default Shader).
