Title: The Library and TGO Xfrog Plants
Post by: myklgrant on August 18, 2013, 10:55:49 PM
Hello,

I have the Xfrog .tgo plant collection that was available with TG2. I've loaded them onto my secondary HD for easy access. If I add them to the library will it make copies of everything or just reference the copies on the 2nd HD? Altogether they add to a lot of Gigs and I don't have room on my primary drive. Having all those tgo's indexed and at hand would really help.
Also: where exactly is the library located?
Thanks again.

It just indexes content, it does not move or copy it. The library is a database file and potentially some preview images. On Windows Vista and later it's located something similar to: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Planetside Software\Terragen 3\Terragen Library. You can easily get to this directory by using the Reveal License Key File option on the Help menu, the library data is in a subdirectory of the one the key is kept in.
