Hello,
Does anyone here know of a free recorder I can record video with of my desktop. The kind people use to make tutorials with.
I see some tuts where the mouse pings a green pulse when the mouse is clicked and some that show a key log. All of which would be great.
But just a way to record my screen and also my voice through my screens built in microphone at a minimum would be nice.
Im on OSX. I know there is a built in for screen captures for stills, but never heard anything about video.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. when I say free, I also mean good quality and no spyware, if possible.
And if there is no free stuff out there, can you recommend an affordable solution thats dependable and good quality, again with no funny stuff?

Of course I am a Windows guy. I use CamStudio by RenderSoft but I just read on a forum that it doesn't run on a Mac. On another forum a Mac guy running OS X said that he used something called Jing.
Ill google jing.
looks good, Pablo! Ill wait for a day or so and see if anyone has more recommendations to think about.
Does anyone else have a recommendation to consider too? I think there are a lot of these programs, but I have no idea what is considered to be top notch. Of course, I don't want to pay through the nose either.
The one Pablo found looks good, what do the programs that cost have that a free program does not?

Ahhhh! Yes! It does. Did not ever need this before so never thought to look. I have QT, so Ill try that.
Also I like the look of the one Pablo found, "jing". It seems to have all the ins and outs. Dont know about video quality yet. Illplay with jing and QT.
