Pretty.

You have a feel and style that is clearly yours, Lyla. I think your color pallet and your preference for soft tone and image texture (not surface texture) is consistent. I think most of your images that I have seen would "match up" in a portfolio with only a few exceptions. This may or may not be what you want. But I think its good to be able to see the person in the work.

Thanks for the replies.   I guess I didn't know I had developed a "style".  :-)   Just now need to refine that style. Always so much to learn.

At least you are with the rest of us..................this is a learning experience for everyone with T3. One thing that I can tell you about the software............don't be afraid to explore. There are tons of new things.  :D

Nice colours; those lines across the rock faces... were they done procedurally or was it an image map?  They're subtle, but work well

Nice start. It takes a long time to master TG.  Use picture sources and then just experiment until you get close to what you want and don't forget all the files in file sharing.  This is the most helpful forum I know just ask and someone will try and help.

EoinArmstrong, the lines are an image map on top of several colored surface maps.  Strangely enough the image map is not of rocks but rough bark of a tree.  :-)

You keep improving along the way. As others have said, this TG3 has much to explore and offer. And, the learning process never ends which makes it fun to work with as you discover new methods.
