Title: how to apply a .tgc file correctly
Post by: archonforest on September 01, 2013, 10:15:01 PM
Hi there,
I am new to Terragen and I bugged at one point. I have my scenario ready for grass but the grass isn't growing :o I got a .tgc file that suppose to grass up my hills but whatever I do nothing happens. I inserted the clip file but then I suppose to connect that in the nod panel with the terrain(at least this is what i figured out from a website) but not sure how. Can someone pls help me out on this subject? Thanx in advance.

Can you post the tgd or a screen shot of your network..................it would help a lot.

Hi Yossam!
Thanx for your fast reply. I made a screenshot of the nw. With this set-up I can render surface with grass but when I try to add a POwer fractal for example Im getting an error message "You must have a Compute Terrain node attached to the planet or object". What do I do wrong? Is there any good write up on this subject?

The output from your base colors should go to the input of your tgc. It looks like you have it in the lumunosity input.
