"Oh noes!!" I was thinking back in the days when I was a kid watching The Empire Strikes Back the 1st time and rebels got spanked left and right, right from the start..
No 3D models got harmed in the process as i took just some random internet pictures, except the transporter at left,
for that one i took a picture from a screenshot of mine. All got quick and dirty photoshopped of course.
I was playing the first time with water (render times, OMG!) in my TG 3 Free using
one of my simple terrains and just got appetite to tell a well known story again. :)
C&C's are welcome but keep in mind I won't try to improve the fun-render any further, sry..
Soon u will get an e-mail from George Lucas asking for some renders of yours for the new Episode :D
Looks cool ;)
Nicely done anyway. One day we'll have object blurring no doubt, and this will be possible in TG only.
Heh, I just wish I could feel nowadays the old magic again I felt back then as I can sometimes remember and feel
the feeling I had watching some movies as kid. :D
A shy question folks :
It was the first time I was uploading a still here just for the fun of sharing a still.
I was choosing an attachment as expandable thumbnail at the end of my post.
The shown file size beneath the thumbnail is the same like the original one at my desktop (444 kb) but the enlarged picture is heavily
compressed, so the pictures visual is I see. The downloaded 444 kb file gets compressed down to ~80 kb also, ok..
But maybe I have chosen the wrong attachment setting for our forum, or do I need to upload and link a
picture on my own somewhere in all cases if I want some original "quality" shown (even very small sized ones like mine e.g.)?
I would have used actual 3d models.
I think this is composited really well... would be damn hard to animate, of course!
Looks good , Bjur.
It may be a prejudice on my side because you post mostly animations ,
but this looks more like a frame from an animation .
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
I would be doing animations much much more if i had a 3-4 times faster PC or a small renderfarm :)
