This is a WIP. I'm not sure I can finish it, I did not anyway vegetation for this type of landscape. I made an error in the angle of the right herbs. In the next I will correct the angle herbs at least.
vegetation: JCinBama, aymenk2003 and Walli
Superb rocks!
very nice rocks indeed. ground orange could be soften a bit
I love it. Great rocks and POV, shrub fits really well. I agree about the orange, could be toned down some.
Excellent terrain work here. Did you use some twist and shear here?
big WOW for those rocks!! Very nice ;)
Agree with the orange tune done.

No twist and shear. Warp shader on this one.

Thank you Jason and all for comments !
a other version
voronoi crack dandellO,
vegetations: aymenk2003 and x-frog.
Not sure of the colors. I'm "daltonisme" no idea of the actual English translation. For colors I was inspired by this picture: http://www.guide-australie.com/fonds-ecran/kings-canyon.asp
Very good; and, like those trees with the exposed roots.
Very good. Agree with Bob on tree roots.
Would add some fake stone shaders and soften the orange (or a mixed of orange shaders).
This is really nice as well! Great POV. Maybe break up the orange by PF and soften it. In your reference it's not this orange.
Good composition and like the POV. Maybe tone back on the orange just a tad and lean more toward brown/granite?
Nothing wrong with the brilliant oranges. It looks to me that the terrain is over-exposed somewhat. Too much GI perhaps?
some others test...
fake stone: choronr (from domain)
vegetation: aymenk 2003, walli and x-frog.
The third is my favorite; but, they are all nice and very similar to what you would see out at Moab, Utah and northern Arizona. Very good work Jo.
Tests?? Man this is how it looks when u testing? My God those "tests" looks awesome!
I just love the colors and the atmo of each of them ;)
Digging #5, awesome shaders and light
"egt4.jpg" YES! But I would expect to see a lot more pebbles and "rubble", so to speak. very cool place to put the camera down and take a picture!
Yes, really great! The colors are beautiful now (don't B&W them!). Looks like a terrain where you can find hundreds of nice POVs. May I make one tiny suggestion. Decrease the tilt and shear over distance, or localize it, or you can clearly see it's TG's tilt and shear, 'uniformly' tilting the whole terrain. But, like I said in another thread, nitpicking. ;)
Great work - you've really mastered sedimentary rocks .
Colors are beautiful. Love the orange near the vegetation in foreground.
It suggest some humidity for these plants.
Masterpiece
Thanks all for comments ! :)
Agree with Bob. Been to AZ and Utah in areas that look like this. Great job!
All lovely and love your contrast with the sky !
