Title: weird bump on XFrog plant
Post by: Dune on November 05, 2013, 03:37:07 AM
I've got a problem I can't solve (unless making a new plant maybe). Is anybody familiar with this? I've got 2 sets of leaves (copied geometry in XFrog), both have the same shader applied, but one of the leaves is getting black where I apply bump by a separate image file. In the other the bump is working nicely. Never mind the simplicity of the plant, it's low poly distance stuff.
I tried very small settings, but as soon as it's over zero, you get black patches.

Another thing that occurred to me is that if you open the preview, it says RGB, while I changed the file from RGB to gray, it still says RGB. Is that a bug?

Don't bother, I've made some new ones.

The RGB part of the info text is really about which colour channels are being displayed in the image preview. It's not a bug, but maybe an additional feature would be to show when the image is greyscale.

Jo
