Title: A Little grey arrow in the Node Network..
Post by: Bjur on December 12, 2013, 07:41:12 PM
..which is pointing down in TG 3.

Seen sometimes @ the last surface shader for example.

That drives my crazy!

What does this little grey arrow exactly mean when/if I see it?

I was searching but didn't found enlightening or pleasing answeres i was able to understand..  :(

It means that there is a connection there that comes from a node that's not currently visible in the network, most likely from an internal node of another node.

Like a given "color image" (without connections to any other functions/shaders) inbehalf a child layer for example, which is connected to the main surface layer i guess (which shows that little arrow)?

I'm not sure in that particular situation. But there *is* a small bug that makes this arrow show sometimes when there is no obvious/visible internal node connection. This occurs due to some behind-the-scenes workings and will be addressed in the future.

Good to know that this seems not to be a critical influencing thing I must have to fear generally.

Thx Oshyan!
