Title: Ruined Landscape
Post by: Seth on January 11, 2014, 08:19:18 PM
It's been a long time without any render...
So just a little thing to start again.

Cheers.

Moody...........I like. If you could get rid of that little bit of blue in the left hand corner.............. :)

I know... but it is the sky's colour... so... I left it as it was :)

Nice one. Gives me the feeling that something unusual is just about to happen there.

Looks good Seth :)

Maybe it is me but it looks unfinished .
Anything in the water or above, a tree or something would be nice maybe?
Or a big broken piece of rock from that cliff in the water?

Agree with that :)
I tried some vegetation without success so far.
And I wanted that one to look a bit... err... inhospitable.
The broken piece of rock might be an idea :)

Don't know when I've seen such a vivid and dynamic feeling scene like yours the last time in here..

Top Seth!

But agree with Richard (why, oh why?!).. ^

Great Blacks!!
Also like the surface of the smooth areas very much, they give some great play with the light and moisture. Probably there are more good views in this world.

Great atmosphere, indeed like something not-so-pleasant is going to happen. I like the harshnes, the darknesses and the rock. And the sky. Agree with the blue, get rid of it! And there's an area on the right where the tilt/shear or redirect (whatever) gives you a horizontal outcrop with 'erosion' that doesn't look very natural, as most gullies will be etched out topdown, IMHO. I would also like to see a small bunch of trees somewhere, just 10 dark and frightened trees huddled close together, as if waiting for doom on water's edge.

Great shot Franck!
Glad to see you producing work again :)

It's very haunting, and wouldn't look out of place in an episode of Game of Thrones.
I agree that it would be good to add some bits and pieces here and there, nothing too obvious, just to add a little secondary interest.
