K Computer:
705,024 processor cores and 1.4 million GB of RAM

Wonder if they'd let me do a little rendering on it...  8)

Is Terragen threaded for 700,000 cores? ;)

Ha, you can render an entire 90 minute movie in a day on that "farm" if you consider 8 cores per node and roughly 16 hours per frame per node.

Or something like that...

The cost of that thing must be mind-bending!

Interesting to see that this computer needs 40 minutes to crunch the data for 1 second of brain activity.

It would need 2400 computers like this to solve it live.

We have a huge computer in our head, we have to learn how to use it in a more efficient way.
