TG3, creative. Yea, I now can do more than 3 pops. :) First attempt at a waterfall.
(terrain by Danny Gordon; vegetation by X-Frog)
Thanks for looking.
Not bad... :)
Nice start. when I look at the thumbnail I can see how great this can be (because the pixels are tightened up).
The waterfall looks like it hits a number of places that cause it to divert into more falls. I like that idea a lot.
Very nice try on the waterfall. To divert into several small falls is a good idea. More comprehensive
Not bad at all, indeed.
Nice! How did you create the falls?
Excellent effort.
Thanks everyone.
Hannes: The falls are a painted shader/surface layer with a water image map. I tried a lot of times to make them better ....more coverage, less coverage, size of the map, luminosity, displacement, smoothing/etc. Finally said this was the best I could do with my limited knowledge. LOL
I like that. I've tried waterfalls a few times but the results just weren't ready for public viewing :(
I'm the same way..............good job Lyla.
You've done well Lyla. These falls are not easy; and, like so many Terragen projects, there are a number of ways to achieve them.
Not sure my falls were ready for public viewing either but if I never get brave enough to post here will I ever learn anything more? Sometimes the best you can do right now just has to be good enough......at least for the present time. :-) Maybe will try a falls with the cloud layer sometime.
Thanks all for the comments.

I believe this forum is for learning and not as a beauty contest. The ideas and suggestions shared are valuable. Just keep on girl; for the short time you've been working with TG, you have made very good progress.
