I have started something similar in Terragen for my own fantasy epic...

It's a WIP.

Very nice.

I know for certain if anyone did the same of the land of the Hobbits, it would look fantastic in Terragen.

Those guys *were* originally in the Terragen community. Their focus was the terrain modeling so realtime made the most sense for checking out their results, but the terrain does look good in TG of course. :D
