Title: Study Water in Motion (WIP)
Post by: kaedorg on February 01, 2014, 06:34:51 AM
Forget the background, I just quickly put some grasses and bushes to get an idea of scales.

This scene is a water in motion study. Still working on it

Excellent effort have you used the displacement to vector node  to get the position of the rocks and shape the water?

Nice! One of the most difficult things in procedural landscape rendering, for sure.

Thanks for comments

I work on 3 different points for the motion

Waves
Foam appearing
Foam disappearing

Right now the first tests are not good and i'm taking notes by viewing videos of rivers image by image.
