Reminds me of home............Tennessee. :)

Good job, I like this one.
A variant.............
Great! Good use of PF variation on the object!
Love this one. If the trees were of a different flavor, this could be any one of hundreds of old barns in Cornwall (bottom of UK) where I grew up :-) Very well done!!!
And what kind of tree would that be?
yossam, elms, oaks and palm trees are some of the main ones, though you wouldn't get the palms anywhere near a farm building like this, they're mainly on the coast (I'm probably giving the impression of desert island type beaches, it's not, honest :-) ) Obviously, there are many other tree types, except on Bodmin Moor, where there are virtually no trees at all.
There ends your Cornish Botany lesson for today ;D
I've got the Xfrog discs.............I'll see what I can find. :)
Have a look at http://www.shadowtorstudios.co.uk/barrowhill/features/therealbarrowhill/theoldbarn.htm (http://www.shadowtorstudios.co.uk/barrowhill/features/therealbarrowhill/theoldbarn.htm) The photos at the top of the page....

Miles,
The only thing on the disc was an English oak...........couldn't find any elms. :)
Outstanding render. Really like this version, the change of trees makes all the difference :)
Added elm................
How about soft shadows? That will soften the shadows of the ladder and leaves on the wall and improve the image even more.
Betterer and betterer ;D
excellent stuff!
I love this, great model too!

Great mood and realism !!
Adding soft shadows more than doubled the render time. ::)
Just FYI..........there are 12 plant populations in this scene. 3 different trees and 9 assorted grass, weed, and nettles. And all the grass pops have color variation................... :)
Kudos. I know places like this
QuoteAdding soft shadows more than doubled the render time
I know, but it makes it more natural. I wish we could have soft shadows without longer render time ::)
I like it too. It also feels familiar to me.
Lovely composition ! Excellent work !
