Inspiring work from Michal Karcz : http://www.demilked.com/parallel-worlds-karezoid-michal-karcz/ (http://www.demilked.com/parallel-worlds-karezoid-michal-karcz/)

It gives some amazing ideas for Terragen...

These are extremely nice! And very inspirational (and doable in TG, no doubt). Back to the drawing table.....

Dark and gritty. He did some CD covers for Steve Roach, a talented musician who with sound scape immersion offers much inspiration as well.

I really enjoyed those!

Fantasy work is really great in my personal view. It makes me feel like there are so many possibilities in life. Even some hope.
Never heard of this guy before, so thanks for posting it!

As far as doing things in TG goes.

How about this?:

I can imagine a few ways to go about getting this break up on a flat terrain floor. But how would you get this into some alpine like mountains, so that it was scattered about in a believable way?

I suppose the first thing to do would be get the effect on a flat terrain ground. Then make a clip. Then try to make smooth angular mountains like in the image. Then try to apply the clip... Yeah, easier said than done! Would love to see it though.
