Title: transforms and masks
Post by: mhaze on March 25, 2014, 08:04:16 AM
Firstly I could only transform a painted shader by using a vector displacement shader, a normal transform shader did nothing.  That's ok but how do I get a decent mask from the vector displacement shader. .tgd atached any help gratefully received.

I don't understand what you want to achieve; the painted shader IS a mask right now.

You need this?

But the colour when the disp to scalar nodes are used is broken up. I need to find a way to get smooth continuous colour

Maybe I'm being totally obtuse but it doesn't solve the problem of masking after the painted shader is transformed. See attached

Ignore the previous post the painted shader needs to be attached to both inputs of the displacement shader!

Glad you got it solved.
