I've created terrains with the use of the 'Power Fractal Shader', no Heightfield used. I like the resulting terrains but would like to have the possibility to change the height range of these terrains.
Now the height range seems random, I don't find a way to control it. How can I gain control over the height range? AFAIK a 'Heightfield Adjust Vertical' doesn't seem to work because it cannot be connected to the shaders.
It's very well possible this was discussed already but a search of this forum came up with nothing.
Displacement Amplitude in the Displacement tab of your Power Fractal controls the height. It is measured in meters. Note that as Amplitude surpasses Scale, you will enounter potentially unexpected or undesirable results.
