Title: Offset Matchmoved Camera
Post by: jbashyam on March 27, 2014, 02:19:00 AM
Hi there,

I have imported an animated camera from Maya and wondering if there is a way to offset it's position without altering the animation? For example, if I were to do this in Maya I would simply group the camera and move the group. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't have access to TG at the moment, but as far as I remember you can go to the animation tab, select all keys of your animation curve and alter them by typing in some different values somewhere at the bottom of the animation panel.
Matt describes the workaround here talking about some frame flipping problems of a camera animation:

I don't know if this helps with your problem, but that came into my mind immediately.

Okay, thanks for your reply. I'm surprised that there isn't a simpler way to do it though.
