Those horses live in a nicer house than I do!  :-[

Very nice scene ;)
There is one thing that keeps pulling my eye. Not sure if the mountains are high enough for having snow on them. They are pretty close to the house where everything is green and as far as I know the snow level is around 2-3000 meters? And those mountains does not look like that high for me ??? I might be wrong though... :D

Agree about the snow.............climate change took care of that problem. Changed the lighting.................. :)

The repetitiveness of the textures on the model cries for some procedural
dirt at least when a model is that close to the camera.
Just add some Power Fractals in conjunction with a transform shader set to
use world space and break up that repetitiveness.
It's easily done and usually an improvement.
Another way would be to mix image based textures, but that can be a bit more
demanding.
Keep them coming!

Nice image, but I would change the sun back around to see a bit of the horses though.

One mo' time...................... :)

You were just a few minutes faster. I just wanted to reply that I like your second image more than the first one, and here is the third try. Looks great, although I really liked the lighting of the second one. Although the horses are barely visible. The only thing I'd like to criticize is the uniform texturing of the roof. There should be some variation and some dirt. A little brighter maybe. And it should be a lot more worn. At the moment it looks brand new. Mabe it is, but imho an older roof would be nicer.

I like the first one the best....sans the snow.

This is looking better. The new sun angle really brings out the detail and shadows of the fore "ground" area nicely. I agree also with Hannes about the house/roof - you could beat it up some. This could also be cool as a stormy shot; or just a creepy, misty, middle of the night shot.

Think this one is too saturated...............I give up.  :)

I kinda like this one.............onward.  :)

Yes!!! The roof is perfect now! what an improvement!
Some more suggestions (don't give up yet!!! ;D):
the plants look a bit flat lit. Maybe the translucency settings are too high or maybe you disabled GISD? Try increasing occlusion weight a bit, maybe to 2.
And I think soft shadows would make the very sharp shadow on the stables look more natural.

Yes, that's the first thing I noticed too, the translucency of the grass. Set it to 0.2 max, maybe.

I already have occlusion weight at 2............better start adjusting the translucency. I may change the tree pops out for something else they were really bright green, came that way from x-frog. Any suggestions?  ???

You could open the textures for the leaves in a simple image editor like Irfan View or any other and reduce the saturation, tint them a little more brownish or whatever you like, save them as copies and do some test renders with these new created textures in your tree shaders.

Or you could change the diffuse color of the default shader and/or add a PF
to the color function both blend with the color of the image.
Nice improvement so far.

I still like it :D
BTW where did u got these objects? The farm house for example? I never found a complex object like this on the net.

That last one looks pretty darn good to me, nice improvements over time. The latest grass looks great, much more "anchored" in the scene and realistic. But what's interesting to me is the grass in the first version was already pretty good in that regard. It appears that changes were made to the grass along the way. Is that correct? If so it just reminds me of the old rule "Don't tweak more than 1 thing at a time!" :D Always best to change e.g. the lighting, do a render, then change the grass or whatever else if it appears to need it. Changing multiple things between revisions tends to result in two steps forward, one step back, and makes it hard to achieve a balanced set of improvements because you end up with positive qualities in several different revisions of the file and having to try to combine the best of each. But maybe I'm mistaken on what happened here and I'm just gassing on baselessly. ;) Still, it's a good thing for everyone to keep in mind. :)

The only thing that changed until the last one was the lighting. I changed the translucency of the grass on the last render.

Interesting indeed. Well, the end result looks good, so that's what counts. :D

Really like the final render and thanks for the share of the models...fine stuff there....
