Hi all,
I'm wondering if this is possible with Terragen 3:
I'm trying to create the mountain terrain similar to the attached a mountains and then import them into Cinema 4D and render them with materials/textures somewhat in tact.
Any pointers or tips would be gratefully received.
Cheers
Jason
Direct texture export is not possible for now.
But you could use front projection of the Terragen made scene-mountain
or a camera that is -90 rotated to the ground and use that render as a texture in C4D.
Not sure if there are other options.
Maybe you know this but Terragen was used in the 100th Anniversary reimagining of the Paramount Pictures logo.

I see - thanks. Shame about that. I was hoping to get a more dramatic camera move with some parallax etc.
Yeah, I think I heard that somewhere regarding Paramount Pictures logo.

You can still do it with the camera looking down and using that render for texturing.
The orthographic camera in Terragen might be help too for this.
That might be an option.
I see E-on Vue has the ability to export to C4D. Any plans for this type of thing in future releases?
