Title: Terragen siting: giant panoramic vision of Mars
Post by: matrix2003 on April 16, 2014, 12:29:58 PM
Found this on my news feed this morning. It's dated a few weeks back, but the article highlights the work of Kelly Richardson, who has created a Terragen panorama of a Mars landscape littered with remnants of human activity. Article is http://www.culture24.org.uk/art/photography-and-film/art473818-Life-Mars-Kelly-Richardson-NASA-apocalypse (http://www.culture24.org.uk/art/photography-and-film/art473818-Life-Mars-Kelly-Richardson-NASA-apocalypse)

The artists twiiter account is here: https://twitter.com/richardsonkelly

I remember this one! I had thought it was a giant print at first. It was a projection, but still really very interesting. Thanks for the write up, I did not see that before.

Also interesting to read the statement. Its nice to see TG used in an academic art setting, rather than commercial and personal which we see a lot more of here. Just nice to know how widely used this software and community are.
