Title: Blue Stakes
Post by: Markal on May 20, 2014, 09:27:07 PM
I've not been motivated lately. This is from a 2007 terrain called "stakes" and if any one is interested in this terrain let me know in comments and I will make it available in the file sharing section. I also used Moodflows starfield background with a space image overlay. Thanks, Mark!

I like this one quite a lot. I would like to see the files. A note about how to keep everything as it is, but reduces the towers will be helpful too. I have an idea for this already, but a more earthly look.

I love the look of the nebula/space cloud thing in the background the most. Could you please elaborate on how you created those? Well done!

@Darknight The space cloud thing is an overlay space image placed in Moodflows starfield background. I have collected numerous space images from Hubble and NASA and others. I've attached Moodflows starfield background with an added image map shader in a clip file. After adding the clip file to your image delete the background file in the objects section...you may have to lower your atmo settings especially the brightness to see the starfield and image map overlay. Click on the image map shader and add any background you want....clouds, Hubble image, planet images....anything....even textures!!! Larger images have more detail and are better for background use. Play around with the settings, if any questions just ask me and I may be able to answer...maybe not :)
Thanks, Mark
