Okay here is a very simple picture... compare to the ones some of you use to upload :D ...but I like it and like the view and hope you can enjoy the space. Have a great weekend for all of u :)
You might think it is simple, but it wouldn't take too much to really make it pop. You could add some low hanging clouds down in that valley. You could also add a cliff or a ledge to give it some foreground and more depth. Other than that, good image.
Thx :)
I will see what I can do about the clouds. The cliff...yeah I had in mind but the technical skill is missing in this moment. I am still pretty new to TG and on the bottom of the learning curve ;D ;D

I don't think there is a top. It just keeps going and going... Some people are just further along in the never ending fractal.
What trees did you use?
It is simple but nice. I think you can get more out of this setup. Say you change POV to somewhere closer to the rocky bit visible and look a bit alongside it to the right, and decrease max slope for trees; you get more cliff. If you want that cliff more prominent or hanging over, add a surface shader between the terrain and compute terrain, add a twist and shear as a child and tilt everything a bit so the cliff hangs over (X or Z, -1 or +1, or a little less), but mask this surface layer by a soft circular/elliptical simple shape right above the cliffs. Play with sizes so only the cliffs hang over, the rest of the mountains stay as they are.
And add a little more variety in tree types.
nice done :)

The tree called "WE06_Fraxinus_latifolia_Oregon_Ash_TGO" I got it from Xfrog for free sometime ago. The reason I used this as this looks like very much the forest I have close to my city where I was "backpacking" alot :D Beautiful place....
Thx Dune for the tips! I will try to execute them.... :D
Ahhh. Good 'ol Fraxinus Latifolia - is there anything they can't do? :P
I've got mostly pines, birches and beeches (mind the spelling! ;D) at my place.
