I agree with all the previous comments Jo, great choice on the white cliffs. For me that really works well with the veg.

Terrific render, Jo! The contrast between trees and white cliffs is beautiful and gives a very mediterranean feel. You can feel the warmth and hear the crickets.

Hmm, the contrast is a little bit too sharp I think. Still this is a very pretty place you've created Jo. :) Impressive.

And what trees did you use? I think I can see Coulter Pine and probably the immortal Fraxinus Latifolia, am I right? :D

Agree with the others. It's a bit too sharp.

Each of those are quite lovely: what a wonderful scene you have created! The large variety of vegetation really lends realism to a panoramic and atmospheric setting. Exquisite!

Lovely shots Jo :) I especially like #2!

May be you can try to take it a little step even further next time by adding some fake stones around the trees in the foreground?

Looking forward to see your next renders :)

Cheers,
Martin

Agree totally with Martin, and if I might add on 2nd look, the trunks of the trees look unnaturally smooth...maybe a tiny amount of bump would be appropriate....
