sorry let me reword this,
how would I create the continents and separate land masses in the animation.
also, I take it interpolation in animation hasn't been implemented yet? I created a similar camera move, but it is jerky.

I haven't tried creating a camera path in TG2TP yet but AFAIK the interpolation is a bit rough. Most people are using 3rd party software to create the camera path and importing the camera data via a CHAN file.

This is really just a matter of using large-scale noise functions and blending shaders. There are a number of discussions and example files for planet-scale terrain creation.
