Title: Distance shader reading
Post by: choronr on July 09, 2014, 02:39:30 PM
This is one node that mystifies me. There is no key (or reference) as to distances (from the camera) when you roll the mouse around. I would like to see an update from Planetside adding an additional reading - like we now see at the bottom of the Preview window: the X, Y, and Z. Hopefully, they could add a 'DFC' (Distance from camera) reading.

3D Preview location under View gives a reading of mouse position, among other stuff....Matt's reminded me of that enough times I now remember to use it.  It has a DFC reading.

Thanks Bobby, I think I must be decomposing starting with the brain. I'll click on the DFC first and see if I get the reading I'm looking for.
