Here is my latest pix I am working on. I think the sky and the terrain is kinda ready. Working on the veggies now. C and C are welcome and ideas for populations. I want to add some random grass and bushes... ???

Great atmospherics but the trees distribution is too even also the foreground could perhaps be broken up with some crags?

Yeah the veggies are in a testing phase ;D ;D
....then I am not yet up to create crags so I guess I will skip that now until I level up :D

Add in a smaller scaled PF to a surface shader. Use slope to give it some rock colour, perhaps limit it with a simple shape shader and add some Strata and that's it.

 ??? Well I managed to add a Surface Layer and there is a Power fractal connected into the displacement function. The rest u said is kinda chinese right now. Would u mind to explain a but more. I am pretty excited to learn this technique ;D

Hmmm, trying to figure the scale here. Some nice pointy conifers would capture those sun rays quite nicely though  ;D maybe broken up with an alpine meadow somewhere?

I already nuked those trees and seeing if some bush can take over the place :D
Meadow...I will give a try but I have a feeling it will not be visible as the camera is pretty high... ???

Sorry just seen your request.  You can find slope in the surface layer tabs and the strata and outcrop node is in displacements. Add your rock colour nodes to the colour input of the surface shader and adjust the slope so that only your rocks are coloured.

Shame on me but I still cannot follow your instructions.... Would you be able to chk the attached the file and fix it? Then I will see how the node network looking :D

Here you go I changed the brown colour to a green to make it clearer.

Once you come to grips with Shaders I've found that it all becomes natural to add stuff when and where needed and with the Undo menu if you go beyond where you thought it was good you can just go back to the good spot. The Undo menu is also helpful in looking back at the changes you've made so you can repeat if necessary at another time.
