Just a little something to keep the forum alive. No high standard, believe me. Just a road and an added platform for the church. Need to get the snow soft.
Nice one! I've just worked how to do this, will finish early version tomorrow and post
Great one. Looks like a bit the Wall from the Games of Thrones :D
Next try for smoother snow. It's a pity the fractal warp shader can't be used after the compute terrain. Before compute terrain it made the terrain too rough for the smoothing effect in the snow layer to have good effect. There's a redirect in here too, but I think it should go.
For me the 1st one is the winner so far... Rough ter and very good lightning around :D

Perfect from my POV but if I came anywhere near your realism I'd feel accomplished.
Last one of this.
wow
The third one says it all ...super way to Church.
Great image. Just noticed the person walking up the hill and I'm not sure about the sizing of the road ruts? Seems like the tracks (which I assume would be car or wagon tracks) would be smaller (in relation to the person) than they are. Just wondering.... :D
They've been worn by multitudes of churchgoers, and also eroded by water coming downhill ;) Ruts and tracks can be found in all sorts, I guess.
I still prefer the first one. Only crit is the area to the left. It's a bit dull I think.
Well, as usual this started out as a test whether I could lay a road on the verge of a crater. Gradually added some stuff, but never intended to make a really nice render.

And yet you did...wish I had that luck/talent
