I like the image, but think the foreground (Knight and Horse) could be lightened up a bit.

Agreed, but it has good potential. Some more light on foreground and some light on the trees would greatly enhance this. But keep it dark enough to be mysterious.

Excellent! Now it looks like God is truly smiling on them. (Although if you want to give it a different spin you might play with archonforest's suggestion about red eyes for the horse.    :o

It getting better and better.  Is it possible to make the circle of light around them a little softer on the edges...kind of fade away?  Just asking. ;)
