I highly recommend reading No Place to Hide by Glenn Greenwald.
I have heard of him on some Libertarian related forum but I typically read or listen up on folks like Stefan Molyneux, Adam Kokesh and Larken Rose. Even though I am not an Atheist, I still uphold to there Libertarian view points. I would imagine if they all got together, they would be against any kind of coercive force of Government period, at least I would hope so.
By the way Adam Kokesh has a book out called Freedom. That is another great read as well. ;)
I was waiting for a book on this topic from him. Did not know it had been released yet. I thought that I heard he and one of his writing partners were working on a film? The last thing that I heard was the film/doc would contain info not published yet. Also, I heard they were being EXTREMELY careful about what they were doing.
Getting pretty tired of these slow leaks. The books are good. But if you want to reach the masses you gota make a film. I sure hope that people will understand what a threat to their lives this stuff is. Right now it feels like no one really cares. New I phone will be out soon... Bet that no one will ask if its NSA proof.

The maker of Lavabit was working on a new e-mail system. It does not protect against NSA surveillance but it does make mass-surveillance impossible. Basically, you'd have to focus on a single person to go through their stuff rather than be a catch-all of info that can be searched and stored.
Some people care and it is spreading, slowly but it is happening. The younger generation is tending to be more Libertarian and with the massive popularity of Ron Paul that the News Media did not truly cover even though crowds of thousands were present to the messenger. Just the fact that we are even talking about this to complete strangers around the world is hopeful as I never would have imagined that.
