Title: Cyphyr's easy God Rays
Post by: cyphyr on August 21, 2014, 01:23:13 PM
God rays or more properly Crepuscular rays can always be created by simply putting the sun behind a cloud and pointing the camera in that direction.

But when you want the rays to illuminate a specific area this can be a much more difficult task.

The file below shows you how. Move the Simple Shape shader to get the light just where you want it.

Very crappy zero effort set-up but it should show the principle.
