Title: Note for the free XFROG downloaders
Post by: bobbystahr on September 14, 2014, 10:35:05 AM
These plants often come with zero info as to their actual size so I went looking and found that the TurboSquid store has tons at the link below and if you click on any one you go to a product page with a full description. Hope this is helpful for my po'folks pals. We're all in the same boat lately

Don't the Xfrog plant pages on their site have the same info or better? Or the downloadable PDFs?
The catalog: http://xfrog.com/browse-new-interactive-xfrogplants-catalogs/
A specific species page example: http://xfrog.com/product/AL10.html
And the PDF with details: http://xfrog.com/support-files/manuals/xfrogplants/Autumn_XfrogPlants_EN.pdf (look on the right side of the species pages for these)

Oshyan...a lot of the download-ables have the ad but no plant info...the page I linked is visual and is I personally find more easily searchable even though the thumb aren't labeled if you mouse over it tells you the plant name. At least in my browser. and the PDF  page takes all day to load, again on my computer....may be different for others. I clicked it before I started typing and it's still loading at maybe 25%

Ah, well fair enough then. Probably both are good resources to have available. I just found it difficult to find specific plants on the Turbosquid page as they are not labeled until mouseover (an odd choice IMO).

I totally agree, they're out left field really. I search their Vulgar name and they turn up if they're there....Red_Oak not Quercus_rubra_
