The first time i saw those transforming parts etc. looked interesting, but after a time i see them more as a render error.
But still the way it is used here is nice and different. I liked it.
Thanks for the link Michael :)

thanks for the link.
I tried that software lately and it's really cool. Even for people not into usual kind of fractals.

here are some of my renders : http://sethlebatard.deviantart.com/gallery/

Maybe some of you would share some advices :)

You know, the OP link may have been posted here before, now that I think about it. But still good.

Kadri, I agree 100%. I like it a lot because the artist took a weakness and used it in a powerful way. That kind of thing always inspires me! When I see someone do that it is like opening a window I did not even know was there. Just makes me feel good.

Seth,
I like the renders in your page. "Klozhupsel" stood out to me as the one I like best.
Have you figured out a way to use your mandelbulbs in other 3D packages? People have brought that up before, but I don't remember if anyone said they had success.

May also be interesting if somehow those fractals can be exported as 2D noises somehow. Is that possible? I was curious about how one could make new noises for TG. Just trying to connect some far ranging dots :)
