Looking for some advice on this one. :-\
Maybe a little more light in the foreground..............without messing up the rest of the lighting. ;D
That's really good, I like it. Superb lighting, nice sense of distance. What I would do (my first impression) would be to get a little closer to the tree, a litlle lower with the camera, and tilt it a bit higher. Somehow you like to see more of where the light is coming from; some more sky. But so that you still see the silver line. Which is a road, I presume? In that case (and if it's painted), I would make some hairpin bends on the right slope. I wouldn't lighten up the front.
That would be very tricky, Yossam, but it's also kind of silhouetted on purpose.
Dune: It was actually supposed to be a stream. I don't know what I can do to make it look more like a stream. I considered added some rocks to it...
Keep thinking to see a dragon in the air there... :D

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. ;)
Ah, a stream, sorry. In that case you might have to make it's higher parts more obscured or smaller. It wouldn't probably be visible this much all the way down.
I really like this one - great mood and atmosphere. I think the foreground tree should be moved to a less central position or maybe replaced with a building or monument.
Great one. I absolutely agree with Ulco.
When I read that you think that the foreground is a bit too dark, I was expecting someone suggesting to add a second sun. Thank god nobody did. So far. ;)

Now that I think about, it's probably because I painted it from the camera angle. I'll have to hike on down there and paint it from looking at the mountain.
Yes, that's what I did in my Bierstadt experiment. You can see gullies and such and carefully draw the stream like it would go down on the rugged terrain.
