Very good Lyla. Like the sense of scale here as well as your lighting.

A fine image and render! This one to my eye is a major improvement in your technique, nicely done. At the risk of offending some folks, these 'slacker' characters just don't add anything to the aesthetic of natural scenery (just my thought). But all in all a fine image Lyla!

Thanks everyone.  I read all the tips and crits of other's images as well as my own and "try" to understand what all of you are saying.   :)   Little by little I think I am learning.  It's a journey, right?

Since the human figures are so limited in their poses, it is hard to know where to put them.   But I do like "life" in some images.

Thanks again.

Great realism, like the layout. Very interesting picture

My 8 year old grandson said, " Is that guy up on the hill taking a leak?"

Nice one Lyla, I would tone/scale down the autumn color trees just a wee bit. One of your best ^^

My thought was that he was contemplating his place in the vast universe..........but taking into account that he is male, it is probably the same thing.   ;) ;)

Thanks for the replies everyone.

You mean you don't believe the universe revolves around the male organ? I was pretty sure it did.

One of your most real renders! But I do still like the emotive colors of your past renders too.

As you get older Michael, you will forget about such things.

More like such things will forget about you.  ;D

 :D

And I agree about the Xoio people, it's nice to give a sense of scale sometimes or emphasize vastness of an area, but I too ( ;) ) should be careful not to put them everywhere.

Very realistic render, Lyla. This gives me the impression of already having been there.
I know it's tempting to put one ore more of those guys into each image, and sometimes it's probably not necessary, but in this case I think it's working.

That the Universe revolves around a certain organ. At a certain age, who cares anymore. There are more important things to think about.
