Hi all !
My post are few and far apart but this job is still keeping me out of the Terragen office !
Here is something that I did with World Machine and Terrane to try to duplicate the kind of scenery that you can find in the NWT in Canada....along the Dempster Highway.
The first photo was used for reference and the second is a Terragen version of a file created in World Machine. Absolutely no postwork yet and might have a few things to fix.
Thanks for viewing.

Very nice, a pretty convincing recreation. What a beautiful area!

An exquisitely lovely scene, beautiful!
Nice...the TG world seems more lush but a great render.
Very nice render indeed!
Wow! Very realistic landscape, I must really get into world machine.
Nice image.
Plus one more nice.
Great reference area.
You have created a beauty here Paul.
Stunning :)
Nice color variation, well done Paul !
Wow, Paul that's very nice. Not sure about the color the water, seems a bit murky, but otherwise a beauty.
Hi
Agree with Otakar about that central part there and wandered how I was going to fix that.
What is is actually is a dried up watershed area like we see here in the autumn sometimes and that color in fact is a rock bed that look quite good from close up but rather bland from a few kilometres away....I put in a few weedy bushes to break it up a bit but maybe not enough....actually these area are rather muddy or rocky this time of year with some weeds....problem is from far off to make it look real and good !
Will likely try another blend and thanks for the comments, appreciated !

Truly beautiful tg work, Paul, I love it!
:)
Cheers

I would hang the first one on my wall very happily.
Paul,
One thing many folks miss is the quality of light at these high latitudes. I think you got it.
I am trying to figure out how to get the distribution of Black Spruce to taper out to smaller trees in the fan. It looks like you are getting nice results with that too. All nice work.
