PLaying with the eye of the fish...ehh...try to live up to Luc Bianco's last one but looks like I am just scratching the surface... ???
But I still like it...
I think you're on track with the colours, just actual cloud treatment is where the differences are.
Yes, you need more layers and soft ones too. Nice start.
Thx Bobby and Dune. More layers...hmmm yes...Luc got 3 layers or at least 3 diff cloud formations so I will also put more :)
Really not bad.
Yes - some more cloud layers could even improve.
Thx.
3 layers. It is better? Cant really decide...
It's better, IMO, but you also play with the fractal settings to add a little more softness to the clouds. Or combine a hard and softer fractal in one cloud layer, perhaps even exact copies (in space) from eachother but where one a has different softness of the fractal, lots of possibilities.
Nice start.. but why to try to copy mine ?
My approach has been to take few real photos of clouds/sunset and observe them to inspire me... I advice you to do the same, I am sure you will obtain very good picture
Of course you can also buy the preset and adapt it to your needs ;-)
luc
Thx Dune. Playing with the softness right now. Here is another version that I think looks pretty okay. Another way softer is rendering now. Will see....
Thx Luc. I do not want to copy yours just do something nice like that. Your render is very inspirational! ;)

like the last two. Would like the 3rd image with the composition of the 2nd.
archonforest...well thanks to Luc and yourself I'm 9h35m into a sunset render and it's half way down the final pass...maybe later today if I'm lucky...think I really need an upgrade; confuser wise....
Gooo bobby...9 hrs and half done? Upgrade, upgrade! :D
Here is another more wide one. Better colors imho. Made another more soft one but i did not like it it.
Great colors! This is coming along nicely
Thank you Danny. I will keep this as done and the only thing I want to put more are some tree silhouettes and some birds.
Very nice colors! Great job

Thx Terrade. :)
I did it purposely this dark as I want the eyes on the sky :D
OKay last one and final set-up.
Details 0.5; AA 5. Had to render on a slow PC so I kept the quality in the mid range. Even though it turned out pretty okay.
Very nice, also the addition of the birds.
