Title: Motion Path not showing all keyed frames as "Nodes"
Post by: PabloMack on February 27, 2015, 05:17:28 PM
I am doing a camera motion animation and I am using the orange line that describes the camera path in the preview. It seems that when I "key all" then the keyed frame shows up as a dot (thicker than the line) along the line marking the place where the key frame is. However, sometimes I only key frame the Y to control height or yaw. It seems when I do this there is no dot on the orange camera path line indicating the key frame. Is this what everyone else sees (that has and uses animation)?

Dots are drawn for every key on the position parameter, even if you only key 1 or 2 of the channels. However, it only draws dots for the position parameter, not rotation or any other parameter. We can easily add this for rotation, and maybe we should do it for focal length / FOV too. I am not sure whether we should do this for all parameters, but what do you think?

I've added this feature now; it will be in the next release. Any keyed parameters in the camera node will show dots on the camera path.
