Don't look at the terrain, far from perfect, just some playing around, but I thought I'd share anyway, as it's far too quiet here......................... hello.......... anybody there?
Neat bridge! How do you flatten the terrain under your path like that?
Neat! Great little bridge.
I've got a 'Road Pack' at NWDA. That'll teach you all ;)
Cool stuff Dune...I do like the ancient Greek bridge...very graceful. Looks like it was designed using that old Greek axiom, the Golden Mean it's so graceful.
I like the color and terrain a lot. The bridge is really helpful to set the scale and distance.
Still some errors. I tried to get the road texture onto the bridge, but it was inversely masked by the gully, so didn't get a grip.

ooops...still very cool...
Cool atmosphere!
Remembers me to "The Name of the Rose"... I don't know why.
But anyway a great pic!
Nice bridge and terrain shader !
In the Name of the Rose, yes... perhaps the mood and setting, I can see what you mean. No such atmo in here... getting there with the rocks (though not quite; too many spikes still).
I see what you're getting at with the spikes...kinda rounded but still not 'natural' looking. I have a small seasonal problem with snow and vibrant foliage...a late spring dusting?
This is super. Don't see or know about spikes. What I can suggest is some variance in the vegetation shades. That is a fine looking terrain.
Thanks for your comments. I consider this my final. Up to something completely different again; 20x4m museum wall, old city and harbour.
Ok - now "the Name of the Rose-Mood" has gone a little bit, but it's a big improvement.
What is your plan with the vegetation? I'm not sure, but in this environment I suspect little crippled cedars?
Anyway this new picture makes me feel like a walk and look behind the mountain and whats near the church.
New Project? City and harbour... sound very intersting... and complicated! Good luck!
I just threw in some (2) junipers, I wasn't intending of building this out, but I might in future, with some better and more veggies. It would be nice to make an animation as well, travel along the path to the church.... I'll keep dreaming.
Yes, wall will be quite a challenge; I have to make buildings and boats, shipyard, church, market, the whole shebang. And medieval people. And of course the landscape, but that is the easy part ;)
Congrats on the new commission.
Very good refinements on this final.
Thanks. I've just made this medieval light thing, still have to refine the iron shader. Flames work quite well with a voronoi ridged input in opacity and luminosity + a colored glass shader on some very simple flat polys, at least on a distance.
That is very good. I see a lot of applications for those dancing flames.
Yeah I as well see use for that voroni flame technique...that has become my fave fractal flavour lately...should animate beautifully. Too bad ver 2 doesn't have the voroni as I can animate in that one.
Interesting :D
Killer terrain in the last two!
Too bad we will have to wait for a while...
Congrats on another large scale project!
Hopefully you can keep us in the loop!
Nice quick flames too, and lamp! Cheers
Jason

Oh, I see it now. Still, $80's a little steep for a TG lesson. I might just play around a bit more on my own.
Can't be $80! Wouldn't dare to ask that. Look again.
Nice use of your road Dune. Great rocks sorta pink granite.

Oh, I checked it several times. Commercial use, that is. While I may have been working on my particular project for some time, my final intent is to have it sold at some point. So I'm thinking that's the one I would need, right?
Ah, commercial. Yes. You'll make it back then, won't you? I'll have a word with Danny about the pricing.

Well I'd consider that well done had I done it..congrats on the commission. I as well await seeing it with bated breath.

I think, maybe, your business model has a few more guarantees than mine. But thanks for the vote of confidence. ;)
But I'll pick it up at the new price.
Yes, I just asked Danny to drop it considerably. It's worth it ;)
