Title: Lake View WIP
Post by: bobbystahr on May 13, 2015, 06:16:27 PM
Hi all....anyone know how to get rid of the perpendicular lines in those cliffs created  in the PF terrain with the Coastline feature. If it's unsolveable I'll call this done and move on.

Depends on how they're masked.  If you used a simple shape, you may be able to increase the edge width.  If you used a painted shader, you should be able to blend it better.

Also, neat image.

They're not masked except for the surface layer for colour. Those lines are the product of the coastline adjustment. I've already called on Smoothing in the Surface layer and increased the patch size in the Compute Terrain node, the latter having the most effect. Attached is an untextured shot with a fair bit already gone.
